Many teachers face increasing challenges to workload, requirements for professional development and more. In the past two years, this has been exacerbated by the pandemic which has challenged everything about the way we teach, live and learn. In addition to this, the teacher shortage has created a context where OECTA members are being asked to do additional work to address this. In this workshop, we will discuss our current context and the impact on teachers lives, as well as review strategies for managing the many demands on us as educational professionals.
